Alan F. Wolf, MD is a practicing Ophthalmologist (Eye Specialist and surgeon) in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Wolf graduated from University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1967 and has been in practice for 50 years. He completed a residency at George Washington University Hospital. He currently practices at Charm City Optical and is affiliated with Anne Arundel Medical Center. Dr. Wolf is board certified in Ophthalmology. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treatment of many eye diseases such as Glaucoma, Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, and many others. Dr. Wolf also practices at Surgical Center of Greater Annapolis in Arnold, MD.
Dr. Rogoff received his Bachelors of Science in mathematics from Stony Brook University, Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University, and Masters of Business Administration concentrating in Accounting and Taxation from The George Washington University. To understand the complexity of healthcare system, he completed a certification in 2013; CPHM - Certified Professional in Healthcare Management.
Addition to patient care, he also serves as a consultant for for the FDA as well as other industry partners, President of the Maryland Optometric Association, and reviewer for the Council on Optometric Practitioner Education. As a national lecturer and contributing author to Review of Optometry, Optometry Times and Review of Optometric Business, Dr. Rogoff speaks nationally on topics ranging from blue light, holistic healthcare, to all aspects of practice management.

As a specialized Optometrist, Dr. Anna Zemelshtern has been working for Charm City Optical since 2006. Being raised in Baltimore, Dr. Zemelshtern is very active in community health and welfare. She graduated high school from Beth Tfiloh and went on to Goucher college where she obtained her bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. From there she went on to Pennsylvania College of Optometry to obtain her doctorate in Optometry. After her internship at the prestigious Kreiger Eye Institute at Sinai Hospital, Dr. Zemelshtern began to practice Optometry at Charm City Optical and Eye Care Center where she provides all types of eye care services including specialty glasses, contacts, eye disease diagnosis and management to including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Beth Karmiol Reiser received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 1981. She went on to Pennsylvania College of Optometry and graduated in 1985 with her doctor of Optometry degree. While Dr. Karmiol was at PCO she did her externship in Pediatrics and also completed externships at Eye Associates in Greenbelt, Goldschleger Eye Institue, and Tel Hashomer. Dr. Karmiol was been working in primary eyecare for over 30 years. When she isn’t busy taking care of her patients eyes, she enjoys staying active by walking with friends. But, you can also find her at the theatre or a good concert. Her most favorite thing to do though would be traveling the world with her beautiful daughter and experiencing what life has to offer.
Dr. Karmiol’s patients return to her because of her attention to detail, her patience, and the comfort that comes from knowing they are getting a full ocular health exam. Dr. Karmiol has been practicing at Charm City Optical and Eye Care Center for almost 10 years.
Dr. Cindy Kasner is a thorough, compassionate optometrist treating patients for over 20 years. Her approach centers on spending time with each patient, truly listening to and addressing his or her visual needs and eye health concerns.
Originally from Baltimore, Dr. Kasner attended The George Washington University for her undergraduate degree. After graduating magna cum laude, she pursued her optometric education at Salus University. She completed her doctoral degree at the university’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating with honors.
Patients visiting Dr. Kasner can receive a full range of optometric services. She performs comprehensive visual and ocular health examinations.
In her free time, Dr. Kasner enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys traveling, reading and cooking.
